Formed in 1990 originally under the name Mascot Records, and then Mascot-Provogue in 1999, the Mascot Label group has always maintained a dedication to integrity and success. After adapting the name, Mascot Label Group in 2010, the organization has been the umbrella label for the following four record companies:
Mascot
Rock label with artists like Volbeat, Gojira, Black Country Communion, Black Label Society, and even intergalactic superstar Bootsy Collins. Mascot Records is proud to have brought Volbeat to success from scratch starting in Europe. Thanks to several focused campaigns Mascot was able to achieve over 10 platinum and gold records. Their attendance at headlining shows went from under 100 to 10,000 people in just 3 years. Mascot=92s success was not limited to Europe, as we also brought them from infancy to over 100,000 records sold and over 500,000 tracks digital in America, selling well over 1,000,000 records in worldwide. In June 2012 we reached number 1 rock album chart entry in UK with our band Black Country Communion, as well as top chart positions in 10 European countries.
Provogue
Leading blues/rock label with Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart, Gov=92t Mule, Warren Haynes, Robben Ford, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Walter Trout, Jonny Lang, Leslie West and Robert Cray. Provogue prides itself on farm raising international blues icon, Joe Bonamassa from the ground up. Perhaps the most humbling tale of success is remembering that Joe had been playing for 50 people in London in 2007 only to turn around and sell out the Royal Albert Hall (5,000 capacity) in 6 minutes in 2009. Additionally, Bonamassa has collectively sold over 1,000,000 albums in Europe and charting the last 8 records in at least 10 countries. In May
2012 Joe Bonamassa latest studio album charted nr 2 in the overall album charts in the UK.
Music Theories
Recently founded progressive rock label with bands like Flying Colors (Prog super group with Mike Portnoy and Steve Morse), Spock’s Beard, Memories of Machines, etc. Music Theories is co-run with the German manager Michael Schmitz, one of the founders of Inside Out, one of the biggest Prog labels.
Cool Green Recordings
Recently founded alternative/indie label with Australian desert rockers Tracer, biggest Dutch alternative band De Staat, underground favorites Crippled Black Phoenix and the well-known cult band Masters Of Reality, featuring Chris Goss (co-writer/producer Kyuss /Queens Of the Stone Age).
