Quaid-i-Azam Academy


On the 100th anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam in 1976, the Quaid-i-Azam Academy was established in Karachi by a Resolution of the Federal Government of Pakistan as an autonomous body. Academy has its Board of Governors and Executive Committee. The Academy is currently placed under the administrative control of the Federal Ministry of National Heritage and Integration. The President of Pakistan is its Patron while the Prime Minister is its President. The Federal Minister is its Vice-President while the Federal Secretary is the Executive Head of the Academy. A full time Director (BPS-20) is its head of Administration and Research.

Achievements of Quaid-i-Azam Azademy


Quaid-i-Azam Academy Karachi is a research and publishing organization. Since its inception the Academy has published more than 72 books in English and Urdu and also translated some of its publications in Sindhi, Balochi, Pushto and Punjabi as well. At present its three research books are ready for publication and works on other projects are in progress.

Functions of Quaid-i-Azam Azademy


The function of the Academy are as follows:

  • To carry out research on Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan and Pakistan Movement;
  • To publish books on Quaid-i-Azam, his associates and Pakistan Movement; and
  • To arrange functions to celebrate National Days of Pakistan and to hold seminars and Conferences on relevant subjects.
