Spencer Lanthier

Prior to his retirement from KPMG Canada in 1999, Mr. Lanthier held the position of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer and was a member of the KPMG International Executive Committee and Board. In 1999, Mr. Lanthier was named to the Order of Canada, an Honour given by the Governor General of Canada. 

Geoff Smith

Geoff has been involved in the construction industry for over twenty-five years, and began full-time with EllisDon in 1982. After studying and following two years of law practice after graduation, his career has otherwise been spent in various management positions at EllisDon, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in field operations, business development and corporate affairs in preparation for his current responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer.


Gerald Slemko

Gerald comes from both an accounting and an entrepreneurial background. Gerald is currently CEO of Annidis Corporation, a publicly listed medical device company. He was formerly President and CEO of Cuddy International Corporation, an international poultry company. He is also Managing Partner of Chelsey Corporation, a private investment management company and is on the Board of a number of private companies. Gerald began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and after obtaining his CA left to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions. Gerald also has a strong record of community involvement and is currently President of the Grand Theatre Foundation, London, Ontario and a member of the board of directors of the London Economic Development Corporation. 


George Schott

George has spent over 30 years in the real estate industry most recently as President and CEO of Osmington Inc. and Chairman and CEO of Redcliff Realty Group. In March 2011 George stepped down as President of Osmington to pursue the sale of Redcliff. In October 2011 Redcliff was successfully sold and George reactivated his private holding company Oracle Realty. Oracle provides consulting services to leading private and institutional real estate organisations.

Brendan Calder

Brendan Calder is a Corporate Director and a Professor at the Rotman School of Management. Before that, he spent 30 years on Bay St. managing financial services companies such as FirstLine Trust and CIBC Mortgages Inc. Brendan is a board member for FirstService Corporation and the WSIB.

Beatrix Dart

Dr. Dart is serving as the Associate Dean, Executive Degree Programs, at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, following a successful career with McKinsey & Company. Beatrix specializes on topics in Strategy, in particular the development of growth strategies for international companies. In addition to being a board member for EllisDon, Beatrix also serves on Rogers Women Network Advisory Board , on the Board of Branksome Hall, an independent school in Toronto, and served previously on the international Executive MBA Council Board of Trustees.


Randy Findlay

Randy is a professional engineer and UBC graduate. He is the co-founder and past president of Provident Energy Ltd. and has spent several decades in the Oil & Gas industry. He is a Director of several public and private companies and serves in an advisory capacity to others.. He also has a record of extensive community involvement including Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, Canadian Mental Health Association and the Alberta Cancer Foundation.


Linda Hohol

Linda Hohol was formerly President of The TSX Venture Exchange and prior to that, an Executive Vice President at CIBC. She is now  a corporate director and sits on a number of boards including  NAV Canada, Canadian Western Bank, Export Development Canada, Canada Foundation for Innovation and The United Way of Calgary.

Michael Smith

Michael joined EllisDon in 1980. He has served in a variety of field and office management positions building his experience in all facets of the business. He supervised over major area operations for EllisDon in the Eastern Ontario and Northwestern United States Regions; before moving back to our Mississauga Corporate office to take on his present role as EllisDon's Senior Vice President responsible for International Operations & Corporate Business Development.
