I think these independent titles are the only hope that Kinect will have any success with gamers on X1. I'm hopeful though. |

I dont think this game gives the kinect any hope Fantasia does and so does the dance game but having a kinect to play this game is just sad :( |

I too am excited about what the ID@Xbox developers will do with Kinect. That said, I still want to see way more AAA games for Kinect: Fantasia, D4, Dance Central, Just Dance, and Kinect Sports Rivals were all good (especially the first three). We also need an Xbox One port of Child of Eden. |

Kinect works brilliantly with that game.
Once i'm done with D4 though, its going straight back in the cupboard. |

I like to record funny bits in my games sessions with " xbox record that". Ok it's not worth the extra 100$ but since i own it i don't know why i would unplug it. |

I would probably play that, but it has to be one of the creepiest adverts I have ever seen...maybe not so creepy with sound? |

(Though on my upstream, I'd know if I was sending data, LMAO)I have a buddy who refuses to get an Xbox One for that exact reason. I find it hilarious. Most ISPs would cut off the X1 user's account after about a day of that, because many have explicit stipulations against running servers on their services unless you're shelling out for a business-class connection.
But hey, tinfoil hats are shiny, so I get the appeal. |

Once i'm done with D4 though, its going straight back in the cupboard.Sorry, but this makes no sense to me. You myopically limit yourself to controller-only games for months, until a Kinect game you find appealing entices you to try it out, you enjoyed the game, and now you're bashing Kinect again instead of realizing it's actually a wonderful peripheral that opens up the door to entire genres of new games? There are a lot of really cool Kinect games out there. D4 is one of them, but so is Fantasia, Dance Central Spotlight, Just Dance, Kinect Sports Rivals, Xbox Fitness, and the like. At least give Fantasia a shot.
Kinect is great. I'll never buy a non-Kinect console ever again. |
