  Rap Battles Begin Again - Mnet Announces Season 3 Of "Show Me The Money"

Rap battles will begin again. The show that brought the nation to a true appreciation of hip hop is coming back to the TV for a new season.

Mnet announced on March 3rd that they are bringing back the wildly popular "Show Me The Money"  for a third season. Slated to air beginning in May, the producers of "Show Me The Money" announced that they will be actively recruiting skilled rappers to join the show as contestants.

Any amateur or underground rapper who aspires to debut into the K-Pop scene is able to apply. One can go to Mnet Black (mnetblack.interest.me) to apply for the show. They will begin receiving applications beginning on March 17th. The prize money is one hundred thousand dollars.

Producer Ko Ik Jo stated that they will be producing the show in a way that the featured rappers will receive the spotlight and be able to grow and benefit from their experience on the show.

"Show Me The Money" is a rap battle show that pits two teams of rappers against each other. Last year Lee Hyun Do's D.O.Crew faced off to MC Metta's Metta Crew. The show featured established rappers Swings, J-Kyun, DINDIN, Baechigi, Kingkong, Kanto, Soul Dive, Zizo, Mad Clown, Utan, and Outsider.
