The U.S. 36 project is a Colorado Department of Transportation-led  project that will bring 18 miles of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service between Downtown Denver and Boulder along U.S. 36.

The Flatiron Flyer is the official name of RTD's new Bus Rapid Transit service that's being added as part of the FasTracks program approved by voters in 2004. The Flatiron Flyer service, combined with the U.S. 36 highway and parking improvements, is the result of years of work and collaboration between RTD and CDOT.

The Flatiron Flyer is an efficient, quick and environmentally friendly commute option connecting Denver, Westminster, Broomfield, Boulder and everywhere in-between starting in early 2016.

We want your input

We've scheduled five public meetings to discuss the proposed US 36 Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service plan.

The meetings take place from March 16 to April 13. See all of the meeting details and other information here.

These meetings are designed to inform the public and to obtain input on the proposed changes. Attendance at public meetings is not required to comment. You may also fax your comments to 303-299-2227 or email no later than May 1, 2015.
