Since its establishment in 2011, the Fondation Zdenek et Michaela Bakala Geneva has supported various initiatives related to education and human rights. Its primary goal has always been to support students studying in Switzerland in their pursuit of top-quality higher education abroad, outside of their native and living environment, as well as to endorse projects related to the above mentioned fields.
In november 2012 the Fondation Zdenek et Michaela Bakala Geneva launched its International Scholarship Program. The scholarship seeks to suppport students studying at some Swiss universities in their quest for a higher education at top ranked universities in the US or UK.
Due to Mr Zdenek Bakala studies at the Tuck School of Business (Dartmouth College), special consideration will be given to students applying to this institution.
The foundation’s scholarship program exists to help talented and motivated individuals to reach their full potential by giving them the financial support they need to pursue a first-class education abroad. An exceptional academic experience gave Zdeněk Bakala the skills he needed to make his own success happen; our scholarship program provides gifted, ambitious young people the same opportunity.
