An optics overview of the LED lighting communication board:

• The optic on the Microchip demo kit is a LEDnLIGHT collimator, specifically the LLC19N. This is a 45mm diameter narrow beam TIR optic for the Cree MCE package providing high quality color mixing along with an excellent, well defined narrow beam.

• Gaggione’s LEDnLIGHT product line includes other beam patterns available to include medium, wide, elliptical, and also zoom light distribution patterns.
