Further games added to pre-season schedule....
The Tigers will be in action in Austria next month after adding another two fixtures to their pre-season schedule.
Steve Bruce’s men will face German Bundesliga side Hannover 96 (pictured) at FC Zell am See’s Alois Latini Stadium in the Austrian state of Salzburg on Sunday 26th July (KO 6pm local time). Any supporters planning on travelling to watch this game are advised that the nearest airport to the stadium is Salzburg (approximately 80km away). Match admission prices will be confirmed in due course.
Three days later, on Wednesday 29th July, the Tigers will face United Arab Emirates Pro-League side Al-Ain FC. The reigning Pro-League Champions are the most successful club side in the UAE and will provide Bruce’s men with a different type of pre-season challenge.
The game will be played at Worgl Stadium, the home of SV Worgl, in the Austrian state of Tyrol with kick-off at 5pm local time. Admission prices will again follow in due course. The nearest airport to the stadium is Innsbruck Kranebitten, approximately 70km away. The town of Worgl is also said to have excellent train connections to Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich.
The two new additions mean that the Tigers’ pre-season schedule now reads as follows:
Friday 17th July – North Ferriby United (a) – KO 7.30pm
