Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)

Brooks Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award certificates, bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education (USED) and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)

Brooks Institute has been recognized as a Candidate for Accreditation by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), 985 Atlantic Avenue, #100, Alameda, CA 94501, 510.748.9001. This status is a preliminary affiliation with the Commission awarded for a maximum period of four years. Candidacy is an indication that the institution is progressing toward Accreditation. Candidacy is not Accreditation and does not ensure eventual Accreditation.

Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education

Brooks Institute is licensed by means of accreditation by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. This approval to operate in the State of California is based on provisions of the California Private Postsecondary Education Act (CPPEA) 0f 2009, which is effective January 1, 2010.
