Sinfully Good Feet Servicing

Hylas takes excellent care of my feet for me, an act of service which is very appreciated (anything to do with my feet I appreciate – he not only looks after my toenails, but also beats my feet, rubs my feet, licks my feet, and – alas – even tickles my feet. Lovely pet!). That includes painting my toenails on a regular basis, something I’m unable to do for myself due to the strong aroma of the polish and remover. He has a great range of colours (he paints his own fingernails – something he started in homage to my brother, but has continued because he likes it), and I enjoy the variety, picking something different each time.
There is a whole process involved. First, the old polish has to come off. In order to safeguard Hylas’ fingernail polish, gloves are necessary. And cute! Next, the clear undercoat goes on (with pens propped between little toe and its neighbour, as my little toes have a tendency to nestle in close). Once the clear polish is dry, two layers of the colour go on, with drying between. And once the polish is nice and firm and dry, then any excess on the skin is carefully scraped off.
After a while, this is the delightful result:
