Residual Kid Releases Charity Single: Friday on My Mind

by

Austin, Texas – Residual Kid are pleased to announce the release of their first new music since their acclaimed debut EP Faces in 2012 – a cover of The Easybeats 1966 hit single Friday on my Mind. The single was recorded at the suggestion of Residual Kid friend and fan Miriam “Miri” Hyman who passed away on July 4, 2014 after a battle with breast cancer.

At her suggestion Residual Kid recently recorded the track and filmed an accompanying video and presented both to Miri privately in June 2014. The band has chosen a “pay what you wish” sales model and hopes to raise significant funds to donate in her memory. All proceeds from sales of Friday on My Mind will be split between Hospice Austin and the LIVESTRONG Foundation.

The track will be available for purchase at the band’s official website, www.residualkid.com.
