20th Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Awards

FEATURE FILM
The Excellence in Production Design Award for a feature film will be awarded in three categories to the “recognized crafts” listed below. The Production Designer or their representative will provide submit a Nomination Form. Those recognized should have made a significant contribution to the look of the feature film.
• Feature Film Category I - Period Films
• Feature Film Category II - Fantasy Films
• Feature Film Category III - Contemporary Films

TELEVISION PROGRAMS
(over-the-air, cable, satellite or Internet exhibition)
The Excellence in Production Design Award for Television will be awarded in six categories and two areas to the “recognized crafts” listed below. The Production Designer or their representative will provide a Submission Form. Those recognized should have made a significant contribution to the look of television program or commercial.
• TV Category I - One Hour Period or Fantasy Single-Camera Television Series
• TV Category II - One Hour Contemporary Single-Camera Television Series
• TV Category III - Television Movie or Limited Series
• TV Category IV - Half Hour Single-Camera Television Series
• TV Category V - Multi-Camera Television Series
• TV Category VI – Awards or Event Specials

• TV Area I - Variety, Competition, Reality, or Game Show Series
• TV Area II - Variety, Reality, or Competition Series​

Jan 31 2015 The Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) tonight announced winners of its 19th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards, in eleven categories of film, television, commercials and music videos during a black-tie ceremony at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The awards took place before an audience of more than 850, including Guild members, industry executives and press. ADG President Mimi Gramatky and Council Chair Marcia Hinds presided over the awards ceremony with comedian Owen Benjamin serving as host. Press Release ›
