The truth isn’t just out there — it’s coming to New York Comic-Con.
Fox announced on Thursday that it will screen the premiere its upcoming The X-Files event series on October 10 at the East Coast pop-culture convention — on the Javits Center Main Stage — well in advance of its official Jan. 24, 2016 airdate.
The episode, entitled “My Struggle,” will be followed by a Q&A with creator Chris Carter and star David Duchovny, moderated by Silicon Valley‘s Kumail Nanjiani.
Additionally Fox noted that the stars and creators of Sleepy Hollow, Minority Report, Lookinglass (fka The Frankenstein Code) and Bordertown “will present new episodes and sneak peeks for fans” at New York Comic-Con.
In addition to Duchovny and co-star Gillian Anderson, some of the familiar faces taking part in the revival include Mitch Pileggi, Annabeth Gish, William B. Davis, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, Bruce Harwood and Sheila Larken.
