Nationals!

Thanks to all the hard work and dedication of everyone on the team, Cal Canoe is going to Nationals for the 19th time in the past 25 years! We finished a close 2nd place at Mid-Pac behind the University of Nevada, Reno, and will now travel to Reno to compete at the national competition in June. Go Bears!

Casting Day Success!

We had a successful casting of this year's canoe on December 6th, 2011. The finishing process will begin immediately after we come back to school next semester. Until then, good luck on finals and have a great winter break!

Hull Design Workshop

Hull design is back in the competition this year! We will be going over the basics of hull design during this workshop so if you're interested in playing a critical role in designing the canoe this year, be sure to come by. 

2012 Rules

The rules for the 2012 concrete canoe competition have been released. Significant changes include the reintroduction of hull design, the removal of the sustainable aggregate rule, and the replacement of the slalom with a 600 m endurance. We are very excited about the prospect of designing our hull this year!
