Nutubihari Mukherjee was a freedom fighter and a man of strict principles. At a time when the problem of land ownership and deprivation of peasants ran amok, he took up the courage to study the law with the sole purpose of bringing reforms in the peasant rules. His life was fraught with problems owing to his children's choices which were highly opposed to his own principles. He however did not give up. Did he succeed in his mission?
