Emma Watson

Actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador

Still best known for her portrayal of everyone’s favourite teacher’s pet Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, proud feminist Emma Watson has been making headlines more recently with her spellbinding UN speech calling for gender equality across the world. Since leaving Harry and the wizarding world behind, Watson has chosen more low-key roles in films including The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Noah, The Bling Ring, and the 2015 Colonia Dignidad, at the same time as gaining a degree in English Literature from Brown University in the US. Since realising what a fantastic tool her fame could be for raising awareness of important issues, Watson has been rubbing shoulders with statesmen and activists alike. Aided by a winning combination of beauty and brains, Watson’s praiseworthy work is set to garner some real changes. #HeForShe
