Three years back, Amy Jackson was seen playing a Christian Malayalee girl in Gautham Menon’s EK Deewana Tha, the Hindi version of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya.
Now once again, the actress essays the role of a Kerala girl in her upcoming untitled film with Ilayathalapathy Vijay, which is being directed by Atlee.
The film also has Samantha playing one of the two female leads. As the team has already finished Samantha’s portions, they are currently canning scenes involving Vijay and Amy Jakson.
Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the film will have music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film lovingly called by the fans as Vijay 59 is likely to release in summer of 2016.
