On Thursday morning in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside, the Syrian Arab Army’s special operations division known as the “Tiger Forces” – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Al-Salamiyah and Aleppo City – imposed full control over the village of Najarah after a series of firefights with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).

According to a military source in east Aleppo, the Tiger Forces and their allies seized the village of Najarah after advancing from the nearby town of Nasrallah, which is situated just north of the ICARDA Farms and the Kuweires Military Airport.

In addition to capturing Najarah from ISIS, the Tiger Forces and their allies once again renewed their offensive on the strategic village of Humaymah Al-Kabeerah, striking the terrorist group at the northern flank after advancing from the strategic hilltop of Tal Humaymah.

If the Tiger Forces and their allies seize the village of Humaymah Al-Kabeera, they will be in position to strike the terrorist group at the imperative city of Deir Hafer, which is less than 100km away from ISIS’ capital of Al-Raqqa.

Recently, ISIS has suffered a number of defeats in western Al-Raqqa, following a massive offensive by the U.S. backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) to capture the Tishreen Dam.

It would be great for the international community to know more about Humaymah Al-kabeera and other villages and farms the Syrian forces secure, f.e. what’s the main occupation of its inhabitants (kind of agriculture, manufacturing, number of schools etc.), so we can have a more precise picture of the what has to be rebuild after the grim work of killing and thriving the terrorist out is done, how many people still live there etcetera. Appreciate your daily army’s reports very much b.t.w.
