About ASDA

Australian Sports Drug Association (ASDA) is an organisation built to protect the integrity of the Australian sporting sector through the elimination of drug use. It is our aim to re-develop a sports culture that solely depends on the athlete’s talent, courage, honesty and determination to win. It is our vision to be the force behind Australia’s dug-free sports performance. Our efforts include the following:

• Design and delivery of anti-drug use education and programmes
• Detection and management of anti-drug use violations – from testing to management and presentation of cases
• Anti-doping intelligence and case investigations
• Monitoring and reporting of anti-doping policy compliance
• Providing a support system for athletes to support their anti-drug use obligations.

All of our programmes are consistent with the provisions of the World Anti-Doping Code as well as the International Standards. We closely work with athletes, sporting authorities and organisations, law enforcement agencies, and relevant government agencies for the implementation and monitoring of these programmes.

In order to succeed with our efforts, we strongly adopt the principles of diversity in all of our works.
