PERFORMANCES
Tom Sawyer, a musical play in one act, was performed August 16, 2008 by members of the Resurrection Lutheran Church, under the direction of Harriet M. Pennekamp, Oakland, CA.
2007
Retired from the music faculty of the University of California-Davis, Elkus continues to manage Overland Music Distributors, a publishing group that he formed in 1984, and to perform editorial work for the Charles Ives Society. His study “Defining the Sousa March: Its Formal and Stylistic Constants” has been published in the American Music Research Journal 15 (2005)
