The Rawls Course was named the No. 2 course you can play in Texas by Golfweek Magazine.

The regional and national respect for The Rawls Course at Texas Tech only continues to grow as the campus course was given yet another prestigious honor by Golfweek Magazine.

The March 8 issue lays out the best golf courses across the country that you can play and breaks down the list of courses by state. The Rawls Course was named the No. 2 course you can play in the state of Texas, for the second straight year. The Butterfield Trail in El Paso was named the top course in Texas while No. 3 was Pine Dunes in Frankston.

With the 2015 NCAA Men's Golf Regionals slated for The Rawls Course in May, 2015, the course staff will be making every effort to climb to the top of Golfweek's list in the next two years.
