40 Newhouse alumni inducted into the school's Professional Gallery Nov. 10

Foursquare co-founder Dennis Crowley ’98, Sports Illustrated writer Pete Thamel ’99 among those honored at campus event

The Newhouse School honored 40 alumni November 10 as they were inducted into the school’s Professional Gallery, which recognizes some of Newhouse’s most successful graduates.

“The Newhouse School Professional Gallery has served as an inspiration to thousands of students, parents and visitors to the school,” says Dean Lorraine Branham. “It is a powerful example of the strength and prestige of the famed ‘Newhouse Network’—our incredible alumni, who together make up the most powerful group of communications professionals in the industry. They are truly the reason behind Newhouse’s reputation for excellence.”

Professional Gallery inductees represent Newhouse alumni in all fields of the communications industry, and at all stages in their careers. The 2012 inductees, many of whom attended the ceremony, are:
