Important Announcement

Dear City Lights Students, Parents and Alumni:
 
Thanks to the generosity of our funders, parents and volunteers at a
time of great need, City Lights has just completed another year of
strong programming.  Our Core classes, Mainstage Play and Musical,
Spring Performance Festival and in-school programs were all a great
success.  City Lights' teaching artists have been dedicated to our
students and we thank them for contributing to what turned out to be a
wonderful 19th season.
 
Despite our best efforts, next year looks less promising.  Due to ongoing
financial concerns, City Lights will not be able to hold classes this
summer or in the fall.  We will make a final decision about whether the
organization can continue and will pass on the news to you as soon as
possible. Given this uncertainty, we are not accepting contributions at
this time.
 
Whatever transpires, know that City Lights has helped thousands of city
kids find their voices and it is due to people like you.  We are all
very grateful.
