If the FNB Wits goal kickers were more accurate, the score could have been even greater.
FNB Wits maintained a high tempo throughout the match, initially matched by the FNB UFH Blues, but as the match progressed, the visitors from Alice conceded more turnovers, resulting in the FNB Wits opening up the flood gates.
FNB UFH couldn’t quite recover and FNB Wits eventually ran in 11 tries to defeat FNB UFH and move level on points with FNB UKZN at the top of the Varsity Shield log.
