Free Pattern – Touchdown Coaster.
I thought it was time for a little free “Touchdown Coaster” pattern. Works up super fast and is beginner easy; make a bunch. I made six with one 2.5 oz. ball of Lily Sugar n’ Cream.
What a great “Party” hostess gift!
TOUCHDOWN COASTER
Materials:
Worsted weight, category 4. Model made with – Lily Sugar’n Cream
Two colors, brown and white
Hook size – H8/5.0mm
Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
Ch=chain
Hdc=half double crochet
Hhd2tog=half double crochet two together (decrease)
R=row
Sc=single crochet
Sl st(s)=slip stitch(es)
St(s)=stitch(es)
WS=wrong side
Finished Size: 4×7” approx.
How to read this pattern:
- When a number precedes the st, that number of sts need to be worked into the st. Example: 2hdc, hdc 4 = two hdc into same st, hdc in next four sts.
- Parentheses ( ) at the end of a row = total sts for that row.
Notes:
- Ch2 does not count as a st.
- Slip Stitch surface crochet videotutorial can be found here on Moogly’s blog.
- Turning counterclockwise will help your edges stay even.
