The heterosexual offenders vs. children are not distinguishable in any way from other sex offenders in their nocturnal emissions and sexual dreams, except that 10 per cent (the second largest percentage) had sexual dreams classified as bizarre. They are distinct from the control group in that a larger percentage had dreams of socially taboo activity: homosexual, sadomasochistic, bizarre, and animal contact. Like all sex offenders, their frequencies of nocturnal orgasm are much lower than those of the control group.
The age-specific incidence (the number of men experiencing a particular activity during any age-period) among the unmarried is moderate and like that of many other types of offenders, about one third being involved in age-period puberty—15, increasing to 57 to 62 per cent from age twenty-one to thirty-five, and then decreasing. The age-specific incidence is almost moderate among the married: half had nocturnal emissions in age-period 16-20 and 39 to 44 per cent had them until age thirty-five after which a decline occurs.
There is nothing unusual in the percentage of total outlet (total orgasms) derived from nocturnal emissions. For the single males the percentages range from 4 to 9 at various ages; for the married, 1 to 2; and for the separated, divorced, or widowed, 2 to 6 per cent.
