Hi! I was wondering if you have read 'Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe' and what you thought about it :)

I think it’s one of the best YA novels around - and definitely the best gay male YA novel i’ve ever read. it’s subtle, intelligent, thoughtful, patient, stylistic, and it’s written by a gay man. it’s a strong coming-of-age novel that truly exists to help young LGB people, rather than exploit m/m fanfic culture and rely heavily on sexual tension (which, sadly, i think there are a lot of published novels that do this now)

i just wanted to say thank u for writing radio silence. seriously. i got to about page 91 before crying. i just couldn't emotionally deal with the amount of diversity; it's so rare in media. this is my first book with a bisexual/demisexual character that i have EVER came across. i myself am bisexual and reading this and hearing frances explain to aled what it was like was so amazing for me personally, and i am just so grateful. thanks x

this makes me so happy :’) messages like this are the reason writing diversely is so important to me. i’m so glad you enjoyed the book!!! <3
