It’s the end of the road for Scott, Stiles and the rest of the Teen Wolf gang — the MTV drama’s upcoming sixth season will be its last.
The announcement was made Thursday during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con, much to the audible dismay of the thousands of fans in attendance. (No, really, there was so much angry screaming.)
In case you need a refresher: When we last saw the pack, Scott — with an ethereal assist from Allison — defeated the Beast, Lydia used her banshee powers to save Mason, Stiles was introduced to his “future career in law enforcement,” Theo was treated to a hellish reunion with his sister, Malia and Braeden worked together to defeat the Desert Wolf, Hayden and Liam reunited, and Kira left Beacon Hills to be with the Skinwalkers.
And Season 6 is already throwing quite a few curveballs our way: Not only did Arden Cho recently announce that Kira is not returning to the show, but we also have a new (potential) enemy on our hands in the form of Garrett, the latest handsome addition to the Beacon Hills High School teaching staff.

If Lydia and Stiles do not get together this season, I will never watch another Jeff Davis or MTV show again. Stydia is all I want from this final season.

I agree. Not that I didn´t enjoy the last two seasons, but It´s just not the same show it used to be.
Honestly not surprised. I always enjoyed the show, despite the ridiculousness, but I could barely make myself watch this season. I hope the final season will be back to its old entertaining self, and that the finale is not infuriating. Lol

This is probably the best decision for the show. The ratings have been going down and most of the cast members seem to want to move on. It’s better they end it now then continue it past its prime like so many other teen dramas.
I’m not surprised by this news but now Teen Wolf can wrap things properly.
This doesn’t surprise me because to be honest :
1) the cast is definitely starting to show their age
2) Dylan has a lucrative movie career to get back to (besides finishing filming the Maze Runner finale he also has a role in the upcoming Deep Horizon film due out later this year)
3) it’s best to end things now and hopefully they’ll have some returning characters like Danny and Jackson and in the last couple of episode we’ll have Derek return (hopefully he’ll have the time since he’s playing Superman now)
This show was really good at the beginig but it got so ridiculous i stopped watching like 2 seasons ago
This is probably for the best. I love the show but I always believe it’s best for shows to not overstay their welcome. Vampire Diaries is a simlilar show now entering that territory. As long as they entered this final stretch with the intention of working toward a satisfying finish, I’m okay with it. I never care how long a show runs. I only care that it gets to end on it’s own terms.

I stopped watching, I’m not even sure why. Have they even graduated high school yet? Anyway, I was all for Lydia and Stiles. It’d be cool if Colton popped in for an episode.

The best decision for a show that used to be one my favorites but slowly started to disappoint. Regardless, it will be strange to see it go, I will be specially sad not seeing Dylan o’brien every week.

I love the teen wolf show and I am extremely sad about the best show to be ending! I personally don’t think the show should be ending, but everyone knows the characters are going to be remembered and revered! I think this last season, however sad, is going to end with excitement and saddness once the final episode is over.
About time! This show has been sinking for a while and I only watch it out of habit and to see it out. I also find the whole behind the scenes dramas to really be affecting the show. Every season another actor wants out. Then they write them out with barely a mention. A bunch of new characters come in. Lather, rinse, repeat.
I’m sad, but happy! Not many shows get to go off on their terms and actually wrap up their show! I do believe Styles and Malia are (should be) endgame. They just waited too long for this oh now styles and Lydia are romantic with each other thing. They wasted too much time as friends, that it seems to work better for them.
It’s definitely for the best. Teen Wolf really got weird after season 2 or 3. I don’t even understand half of the “lore” on the show anymore. I feel like Jeff Davis hears a random myth or legend, only listens to half the story, then tries to adapt it to the Teen Wolf storyline. ..but nothing makes sense!
Supernatural and fantasy shows definitely have an expiration date. The original, basic lore (vamps, werewolves, etc) could get stale if you don’t add new elements like witches, hunters, etc…but then it gets weird and overly complicated as the seasons progress.
It’ll miss the show, but it’s definitely time!

Stiles needs to leave Beacon Hills and everyone there, except for his father, far, far behind. He deserves so much better. I want him to go to a good school and leave all the bad crap behind.
It stopped being good after season 2. Those first two seasons were exceptional. After that it just turned into a giant queer-baiting, sexist, homophobic piece of blah
Personally, I don’t see the issue with continuing the season. Ya Scott, Stiles, Lydia etc… are graduating but why not pass it down to Liam? Why not try one season of him being the main character/ alpha and then end it with questionabe kind of ending. As in if it goes good ya have a way to continue it or you have it to where the show can ACTUALLY say it’s goodbyes if it doesn’t impress fans. Go to Season 7 then either end it or not.

Love the show but it’s for the best. Letting Colton leave was one thing but then Crystal and Daniel then the other Tyler. Plus writing off Danny and the twins etc., now Kira. I get wanting your actors to be happy and mixing things up but all the cast changes became too much. The show I started watching and loving is far from the show I’m watching now. I’m so grateful Holland has stuck around and Jeff Davis should be too. I can’t wait to see what she, Tyler P., and Dylan do in the next phase of their careers.
ok, I am in my 60sand I loved the show, yes it got a little off-track, but I loved the characters. Their inter-action with each other (sort of the track with Buffy, the Vampire slayer) was sometimes hilarious,Scott and Stiles grew up with each other and in someways more like “brothers”. The show is Teen Wolf, not all has to be about Scott and his ‘scooby-gang’. You introduced Liam, and I`m sure you could have added more teens and had Scott and the gang help them with their ‘problems’, after all it is `Beacon Hills` .
Listen I’m no heckler or mean, But my opinion is. This is unacceptable how do you even kill a show that’s Deep In Its Prime. You people make me sick no Excuses. Money, Fame, what is it people getting older. You keeping the ball running with ideas to keep there minds at ease and the Veiwers Happy. Pitta full why even watch the next season Huh?….
It was a great show through season 3 then it was overwhelming with too much action without any coherent or meaningful story lines. I really like the cast and they are a terrific bunch together so i’m bummed out not seeing them anymore but the show itself has went downhill. A little more reality and heart was needed, thus why I liked Styles the most. They had a great cast so it’s always sad when seeing how easily it’s all dragged down with poorly written stories/production.

Im Really dissopointed but at the same time gald so the actors can go on to bigger and better things just saying im 13 and this will always be my favourite tv show tit has always entertained me and have my favourties actors and actresses in it .I will be sad to see it go, thought im a huge stydia shipper so hopefully I get to see some of that in season 6 . Thats all I have to say love the show and I cant wait ro find out stiles real name ! :-)

I don’t think it should end I love the show and the stories of the supernatural I think it should have a at least 2 more seasons so it can end properly getting all the supernatural stories in.. I’m always up and ready to see the next new episode after one ends seen every episode and know them by memory..
Now that the cast is getting older I feel all they needed was some new faces and new story lines and have the old cast pop in every now and then to keep the image.. it sucks that it’s ending one of my favorite shows…

Wtf …. I agree with the latest seasons but being as good as the first. But damn TeenWolf is Life – I hope they make a movie after the 6th season Im sad its going. Im really pissed idc if it was boring in parts a true fan will stick in.
