Browse through the indexes to many of the most popular State Archives collections at the new Indiana Digital Archives, www.in.gov/digitalarchives. The Friends of the Indiana State Archives volunteers have been hard at work for more than twenty years creating indexes to many of the state’s records. Since before statehood in 1816, Indiana, the Crossroads of America, has been home to thousands of settlers and immigrants. This project allows Hoosiers and citizens worldwide to browse the state’s history as Indiana nears its bicentennial.
