Elevated Road is a road raised above ground level. A person can choose between 3 different options on road ie. to move on normal road or the elevated road or Metro.
After the great success of the Two-lane 2.95 km long elevated road at Ajmer Road Jaipur, The Government has approval a plan of extending the elevated road for decongestant of traffic at Shakar circle. In this plan, the present Jaipur elevated road at Ajmer Road will be extending towards 22 godown.

The 22 Godown circle situated on Bhawani Singh Road is one of the busiest traffic rotary in the Pink City. It caters to the traffic from major roads namely Bhawani Singh Road, Sardar Patel Marg, Sahakar Marg, Hawa Sadak and the VIP traffic coming from Civil lines area. For improvement of traffic, Government have decided to control traffic by linking existing ROB with elevated road towards Bhawani Singh Marg.

JDA has to pay approximately Rs. 37.01 Crore for the extension of elevated road towards 22 godown.
The Expected completion period of the project is about 24 months.
