Filth

Filth Faction

They are a barbaric tribe of demon worshippers. They burn and despoil what traces of civilization they can find. They have no name for themselves, but other call them the Filth. At night their camps echo with the screams of prisoners and the gibbering of madmen. Bodies bend and snap as they are wracked by mutation - dark payment earned with dark rituals.

A Filth player values versatility. The Filth can mutate their flesh to better suit the task at hand. A Filth player is constantly evaluating what mutations they have at their disposal and when and where is the best place to use them.

Jman commented on Legion Mutant:

He also starts with 1 card under him. So at full strength he would have 5 atk and 6 life. Its fun to whip him around with a taskmaster too. Getting big attacks on crucial targets. Usually only busting him out at full strength if my opponent is low on magic or if 5 dice could win me the game. That being said, he is not great in all matches. Sometimes he is better of just being built when you draw him.

commandercool commented on Legion Mutant:

Ahh I see. Thanks for correcting me.

Jman commented on Legion Mutant:

If you think this guy sucks, I can promise you you aren't using him correctly. He has won me several games. You don't always have to bring him out at full power. He can be as strong, or as weak as you need him to be at anytime. And if you do power him up and throw him into some shit, then the Warden has event cards to help keep some wounds off of him. Then just mutate him after a few wounds, or attack him yourself, and get everything back that you spent for him.

commandercool commented on Legion Mutant:

This guy is God-awful. Let's say you spend 4 magic and take that many prison cards. You've just spent 10 cards: 1 for Legion Mutant you could've built, 1 bc opponent will kill Legion (I know, not a sure thing), 4 magic, and 4 prison pile. For that fortune you get a 4/5/10. Wow. Why would I ever play him?

TheOtherJonas commented on The Demagogue:

Have you noticed that the color scheme of the filth (crimson and blue) are the same colors of a mineral known as the "bloodstone"? Perhaps it's simply a coincidence, though.

Jman commented on The Abomination:

I agree with killer. I love The Abomination. He is one of the only units the demagogue has that can sustained a push. He is the centerpiece to the deck with the gogue able to pull the best mutations whenever he needs them to help Abby. Not to mention how quickly Dema can get him out thanks to the recyclable muts. Spellsucker and Horror Mutant are his best friends. To keep him going longer, when your opponent summons a champ to combat him, keep the claw mutant ready to come out and take them down quickly. There is nothing more demoralizing than summoning a big champ just to have it torn down in one turn.

Jman commented on Her:

Yes. Her ability does not affect little meda or nanny. It simple affects Her ability to attack x spaces away.

Younglion1906 commented on Edible Mutant:

Can Edible Mutant remove wound markers from Mutated units? I draw a distinction from Incanter Mutant which says "Common Filth Units you control that do not have Mutation Cards." Void Mutant says something similar.

chaa commented on The Demagogue:

killercactus commented on Nanny:

Her can attack Nanny if she's adjacent to Little Meda. HER ability affects HER, allowing HER to attack anyone. It doesn't affect Nanny. If HER ability instead said "Place 1 Wound Marker on any Unit on the Battlefield", then it wouldn't work. See the difference?
