Advisory Regarding the Hiring of Filipino Workers in Egypt
The Philippine Embassy in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt would like to inform the general public that NO private individual or entity in Egypt or elsewhere has been authorized to act or transact business on its behalf, especially with regard to the hiring of workers from the Philippines.
Any individual or entity claiming to be connected with or representing the Philippine Embassy (apart from its actual officers and members of its staff) must be reported to the Philippine Embassy immediately.

Contact details of the Embassy
In order to ensure that the Embassy responds promptly to all queries, the public is hereby reminded about the proper use of its contact details:
- The ATN hotline (+201227436472) is for emergencies only involving Filipinos that require our immediate response. This number may be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- The Embassy’s duty phone (+201288951110) is for all other non-urgent matters, including inquiries regarding passports and visas. This number may be reached on weekends and holidays only.
- The Embassy’s landline numbers, +20 2 2521 3045/62/64/65 may be reached for any concerns during office hours only, from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- The Embassy’s Facebook page, Cairo Philippine Embassy, is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for queries and concerns. The public is encouraged to send inquiries via private message, not as comments on posts.
