Hollyoaks newcomer Adam Woodward gets his Daniel Craig moment in this exclusive first look at his introductory scene.
Show bosses have taken inspiration from James Bond while writing the debut for Adam's character Brody Hudson, who joins the show in the upcoming Ibiza-based episodes.
Brody is a charming new regular for the Channel 4 soap, who meets some of our favourite characters when they fly out to the Spanish island for a holiday.
The first time we see Brody, he's heading out of the sea in some tiny swim shorts – just like Daniel Craig's famous scene as Bond in 2006 movie Casino Royale.
A Hollyoaks insider told Digital Spy: "Adam is clearly no stranger to the gym anyway, but he was determined to make a good impression in his first scenes and was keen to be in top condition.
"In true TV style, he also had to get in and out of the water a number of times as the crew did multiple takes from different angles.
"With some of the Hollyoaks villagers spending time at a nearby pool bar when Brody emerges out of the sea, his good looks are sure to cause a stir among the regular characters."
Brody's introduction in Ibiza paves the way for him to join the village itself not long afterwards.
When he does turn up again, Brody is carrying a dangerous secret about what happened in Ibiza – but will he share it or keep his knowledge to himself?
Speaking earlier this week, Adam explained: "I'm so chuffed to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks and filming my first scenes in Ibiza!
"Brody is a brilliant character to play and I can't wait to see what the fans think of him."
Hollyoaks will air Brody's Ibiza arrival in July as part of the Six Weeks of Summer episodes.
