Christiane Noll, a Tony nominee for her performance as Mother in the Broadway revival of Ragtime, has landed a role on the long-running NBC series Law & Order: SVU.

The episode, which is titled "Unintended Consequences," will be directed by Jonathan Herron. Noll has been cast in the role of Sarah Curtis, and filming will begin September 25.

Noll told Playbill, “After 19 years on the air, I will finally be appearing as a guest star on episode #19006 of Law & Order: SVU! I am really excited because this is my first big guest starring [role].”

The new season premieres September 27 at 9 PM ET on NBC.

Noll has also appeared on Broadway in Chaplin, It Ain't Nothin’ But the Blues, and Jekyll & Hyde.
