First Official Zombie Shot From ‘Day of the Dead: Bloodline’!

This morning we shared the art and now we have the first ever zombie shot from Millenium Films’ Day of the Dead remake, Day of the Dead: Bloodline. From The Corpse of Anna Fritz director Hèctor Hernández Vicens, Saban Films has dated the reimagining of George A. Romero’s cult classic for theaters, VOD, and Digital HD on January 5, 2018.

Day of the Dead: Bloodline is set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world where a former med school student is tormented by a dark figure from her past. The only thing is, he’s a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her world.

Hey! This shot looks like it was taken straight from The Walking Dead season 3! Only sadly,…this is from something even less interesting

Serious question Brad, do you owe these guys money or something? Because if that’s the case we could probably help you out

  • Kane

its not a remake just because it shares the name of an already established film you fucking mong stop spouting that nonsense…. for fucks sake i dont know why they didnt just call the film “Bloodline”

i’m open to this movie but the “he’s a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her world” sounds bizarre to me. hopefully the film is still fun/enjoyable enough to watch. oh and the zombie fx in the pic above is alright i guess but really no film/tv show will ever be able to outdo The Walking Dead’s zombies. i’m not into the show anymore but the one thing i think 100% of us can agree on is how perfect/well done the zombie fx are.

The only way this is going to be watchable is as a “so bad it’s good”, ala House Of The Dead, so…let’s hope for that? Do you think it’s too late to get Uwe Boll to direct…or re-direct? yeah, probably 🙁

Also, another serious question. Can it be considered a “reimagining” if it’s completely unimaginative?

  • Dennis Giles

Surely there’s a connection to “Stranger Things” ? Every frigging thing on movie or t.v screen is connected to it.
    Passing on this fodder.

  • WE. NEED. A. TRAILER.

(You can’t keep interest up occasionally dropping pretty generic pics)

    • J Jett

      agreed 100000%.

  • Creepshow

Let’s cut the shit. This will not be shown in theaters.

    • J Jett

i totally thought the same thing! tons of (no doubt) more deserving great films don’t ever make it to theaters and yet this DAY movie is supposed to get a theatrical release? nope. no way. LOL. or if it does, it will be in like 2 theaters tops.

    • theundead

Who’s forcing your dumbass to watch it?

  • J Jett

i only just now noticed the poster for this movie. is it just me or does it look like the zombie on the poster is floating? LOL.

    • Saturn

Well the new Day movie is a secret Venom prequel, which directly leads into a new game changing Blair Witch movie which in turn is part of Stephen King’s expanded universe, so it makes perfect sense that one of the characters is floating, Johnboy Schaech actually confided this in me and said that the clues were actually present in the final scenes of the movie LIFE.

        LOL! hell yes! 🙂

    • StarvinMarvin65 .

Yep. Needs a shadow. Another photoshop mess by a hack “artist”.

    • I thought he was being raptured.

  • IWC-3PO

    More bargain bin filler.

About that copy headlining the poster:

“A craptastic new cash in on the title of the George A. Romero classic.”

There you go. Edited for accuracy.

      Just shut the hell up
