Will you make a New Year’s resolution?

“No. I used to make them, but every time I did, I never went through with it. So now I’m just living life and letting things happen.”

Prior to getting released in March by Indianapolis, when was the last time you had been cut from a team?

“Never. I’ve been playing sports since I was 8, and it had never happened. I’ve always been ‘that player.’ It was the first time in my life I wasn’t good enough. It was a very humbling experience.”

Why did you sign with the Eagles?

“Malcolm Jenkins. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him. I played with him in New Orleans, and I know what kind of teammate and leader he is. He does things the right way, and I wanted to be a part of that again.”
