wireless operator in Alaska, have announced Alaska DigiTel purchased Interop's (
News -
Alert) Over-to-Air (OTA) Programming Solution 3.3 to help bring down retail activation time by 40 percent and to help update customers’ phones.
Alaska DigiTel will be able to provision and program more phones for customers more rapidly by employing Interop Technologies OTA solution. Operators can also adjust the Preferred Roaming
Lists (PRLs) for defining cost structures and adapting to other roaming offers in the market.
The Interop Technologies OTA solution includes real-time Web-based customer care and reporting from the OTA to customers as well as support for encrypted programming, network security and helps reduce fraud.
