So does battlepass work the same as fortnite , etc. ? I mean once we buy it can we rebuy it with ingame earnings ? Also there are some players which we cant "make friend" or "block" on after match screen on Switch. Aren't they xb1 players then ?
You're most likely talking about Bots. Crossplay is not in until June 27th patch on both switch and Xbox.
Then why does it show a speaker next to all my teammates on the in-game scoreboard making me think they're all communicating via voice? And are they going to still implement crossplay without voice chat? That's still going to screw over Xbox players who have already been competing with voice chat.
That interesting, I thought we were with xbox people too . That's good though, Its been pretty easy to get games as is apparently with just Switch people, with xbox added, that will really grow the available community.
Do bots have levels in specific characters ? For example last night there was this guy who just wondered around spawn and never got in the siege point at all. AND he was lvl5 in his char. I was frusturated with him and didnt want to play with him again so wanted to block him but couldnt see that with his char. I am lvl13 on barik and most of the time I see lvl20s etc and want to friend them again cant open the menu, only select few people.
Without voice chat on Switch, it will destroy the current community when you have some teams with all xbox players communicating and some not able to communicate.

I don't think it will be much of an issue. If it's done in the same way as Fortnite, you won't even see Xbox players unless you're in a party with someone on Xbox as well. We'll have to wait till the 27th to know for sure.

Something I've noticed, is that Switch Androxuses and Evies aren't as airborne as their PC counterparts. I always have a laugh when I catch an Androxus walking towards the objective. Yesterday I built a turret-based Barik and I was almost unstopabble. It seems to me, that most Switch users are still rather new to the game, and sometimes basic stuff like buying "bulldozer" goes way over the head of some.
I've noticed that as well. It's probably a lot of this people keeping auto-buy on while they learn the game.
To be fair, picking a passive to counter something that is happening in a match goes over the head of 50% of pc players :P.
I read that properly turning off your Switch and turning it back on (not sleeping) can fix crashes - not had any myself so not tested it. Worth a shot!
Purchasing decisions seem to go over everyones head on any platform. I was playing on PC the other week against 5 support characters, and I was the only player on our team that bought cauterise. They persistently outhealed our damage. My cauterise wasn't enough, because I was playing Talus so I wasn't exactly spreading damage.
Ha! Maybe you stumbled against me! Me and other 2 friends form the "Wandering Supports"; a Pip, Grohk and Grover team, we usually ask for a Tank and whatever the other player wants to be. That team is surprisingly efficient and frustrating to fight against, the after match chat shows that it gets under people's skin.

What makes you think they are Xbox gamertags? Some people try to be consistent across all platforms so you can be like, "hey, my name on ALL platforms is XXXboxrulesxxx" instead of listing three different names to remember. Though I violated this rule. with my Switch account but whatever. I didn't think cross-play was happening until full release next week.
What are Xbox gamertags? There doesn't seem to have crossplay in right now. Edit: Actually, I just checked and it appears they are matching together right now. The option is there on the Xbox settings to turn off cross-play, but it's not there yet on Switch. So it seems the two are playing together right now.
Crossplay matchmaking has to be in already. I don't see how it's not. Where has it ever been officially said it's not? I watched someone on Twitch play on XB1` and several matches they had people without Xbox icons playing on their team. This plus the fact that most people can't have their profiled viewed on Switch unless they are on a Switch (you can't view people on Xbox). Plus long gamertags. XB1 also has an option to disable crossplay matchmaking. Not sure if it's in the Switch version. Crossplay partying is what's not in yet. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong.
I thought it was working. I mentioned that I was thinking about getting it on switch on a twitch stream and some guy even told me to hit him so we could play as he was on Xbox. Made it sound like he’s done it before (played in matches with switch players).
I believe you're actually right. It appears switch just doesn't have that option to turn off Crossplay, but it's there on Xbox.
Nope. Battlepass costs 500 crystals, by completing the whole thing (or up to level 46 or the like) you will only get a return of 100 crystals. That said, you can also earn 50 crystals a week from logging in each day, so if you never spend those log-in crystals on anything else, you should be able to build up enough through the duration of one battle-pass (90 days or so, I think) to buy the next.
I've been pretty consistent with logging in every day on the Switch since Saturday but yesterday it seemed to reset my progress to Day One yesterday. Is there a known bug or thing that you can do to get that reset? Or is it not 7 days in a row but M-S? The only bad thing I did was boot a match and then had to leave my game cause my gf woke up in middle of the night in pain, I was afk and it booted me from the game.

It resets every 4 weeks. You'll get whatever your next reward was in addition to the first day reward when you log in after the reset.

So glad they are fixing this [Switch][XB1] Fixed an issue where players dodging during match lobby would soft lock players for a short duration.
At least Maeve's Street Justice and Zhin are finally getting (slight) nerfs. And Talus's Blitz Upper might be useable again.
Yep. They said big updates around every six weeks, with small ones closer to two weeks. Plus, this update will be bringing the Rise of Furia event (and new champion) to Switch and Xbox players.
I’m thinking about getting the battle pass. How hard do I have to grind to get max level before it ends?
Depends on how many days you've got left. I got it at near day one, but took a break, and now I've got about 1/3rd of the time left (30-ish days) and 6 levels left to go (though the last few are the longest levels of the whole pass). Mostly I just hop on, do my daily quests, and hop off. Also make sure to bet on the remaining tournament winners (far right tab in the battle pass menu). That can net you some free XP if you guess right.
Is Blitz Upper hitbox that bad? I have to say that i noticed, many times i feel like i hit the enemy but it doesn't register. I guess hitbox was just very small.
It used to be extremely good, and could hit multiple targets. Then they nerfed Talus by shrinking the hitbox and making it only able to hit one target. But they messed it up somehow, 'cause half the time you'll pass right through an enemy's center mass without doing any damage. It essentially became a glorified movement ability that could only do damage on AFK players, and only if you were really accurate. Here's to hoping it's actually worthwhile again.
What you wrote is exactly what i noticed, that's so true. I didn't play pre nerf Talus but even current version is so bugged. -When you place Rune of Travel sometimes animation is repeating for 2nd time. -Sometimes i press teleport key but it does nothing. It starts teleporting me and then animation just goes back to me being killed. -Like i mentioned Blitz Upper not doing anything most of the times. He is really fun, but kinda broken. And i can barely do anything with his regular gun, overcharged it's great but when it's not it just feels weak.
