Used to love this thread in the old place...not sure I can bring myself to do it anymore. You'd think I'd have grown a tolerance to it all, but it only gets worse
You know I find the opening monologue absolutely hilarious, "No Carnists!" "I am a heterosexual man but if you want to fantasise about me licking your balls or ass, well whatever..." But then we he starts licking ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Cannot handle.
I like how he specifies that it's how to kiss somebody you like I assume he has a corresponding video on how to kiss somebody you hate. Seriously, what self respecting gamer dude or dudette doesn't?
I feel bad for the egg guy now because apparently some folks went after him pretty hard with personal insults, even if it does come across as a bit self-important in the video.
I remember that dude, he was like straight-up a villain...and like not in a cool self-aware way like you see in reality shows, he was basically Sheldon given flesh.
It's not so bad at the start, but the longer he lingers the more ominous and unsettling it becomes, sort of like a Tim and Eric skit or something. Time seems to slow down, and you aren't sure if he's repeated himself three times, three times, or three thousand times.
A friend of mine was a participant in that show when he was a kid. He did not have good things to say about it.
Good lord. What a ride. Thanks for helping make the last 45 minutes of my work shift fly by feel like an eternity. The schlub interviewing people in the parking lot and Fedora Batman feel like the kind of people I have to deal with sometimes at my store and are videos I could not make it all the way through. That NHK video though is the best kind of cringe. It's awful, hilarious, bewildering, and strangely endearing all at the same time. His family is there supporting him. It's quite a thing. NHK is a great source for experiencing a wide variety of cringe.
I found this one on reddit oh my god. I hate these creeper cringe videos but they get under my skin so bad.
This is just straight up stalking and harassment. That poor woman must have been terrified. Exemplary "Niceguy" behaviour.

This one just always wound up being more endearing than cringy for some reason... That said, I have no intention of watching it again. I'll be off cringing at some MineCon compilations instead... This show needs to retroactively stop existing...

I dunno if this applies but it's got the dude at 1:40 for a laugh. I think it makes me cringe because I know this place, these people, and for a hot minute became the thing that people associated my hometown with. EDIT: yep, it's cringey.
