I'm taking multiple screenshots of the same area (same position do not move, just rotate) and then I'm stitching them together in Photoshop or an other software that can do that kind of thing. Then I crop the result and if needed getting rid of the UI with Photoshop tools.
I really would like to take screens at 4K or whatever but these silly AMD drivers don't allow me any custom resolutions over 1440p on my 280X. I could get all the resolution I wanted with Gedosato though. Alas it doesn't work on DX11. :P
I love the mood and atmosphere of the game. Just imagine a Dead Space 2 remake with a modern engine... volumetric fog, realistic lights, some destruction, high res textures, modern shaders.... It's so sad the franchise is dead.
More Street Fighter V Is this what having photomode in every game like? Just wasting away taking pictures, spending more time on this stuff than playing the game lol. Of course it'd be quicker if I wasn't using some hacked-in version of it in SFV.
I have a feeling that the FF XV PC release today will have some impact on this thread :) It's gorgeous.
Man, DS2 really goes to show how a great art style and effective use of lighting can keep a game looking great way past the time you would expect. Good shots. Watch Dogs 2 really had such a well realized world, really can't wait for Ubisoft to make more games set in modern cities.

The banding in FF XV's sky looks pretty bad. Is it like that in-game at normal resolution, or is it because of Ansel/high-res?
It's because of Ansel. It actually doesn't look like that in the game, but banding happens when you activate DOF. Without it it's fine.
Damn, right back at ya. I’m guessing all these are taken in first person mode. I should give it a try. Ansel has not been good for my progression in this game, hah!

I tried Ansel for the first time but the gamma was totally screwed so I closed it again. Will definately play around with it later on, but for now my progress is already slow enough taking normal screenshots everywhere haha. I want to do some more combat shots, but ingame there are still those markers on the enemies even when I disable all hud elements. Guess I have to use Ansel for it.
For combat pics, Prompto usually take some sweet action shots. He also gets better at it the more you level his skill. Edit: Awful compression tho
Ishiro I made a huge mistake by following your lead and using Ansel. Shortcut on my controller, I'll never finish the game. It's just too beautiful. Some combat pics for a change:
