My friends are highly competitive people, and so roping them into this was easier than I thought it'd be, haha. I actually did a thing where I uploaded a phase's entire transcript into an open Google Doc so that they could easily reread previous messages, ctrl+f'ing and all that stuff, but it reached a point where it was simply too much. People were getting off work and saying, "Oh, there are 1200 unread messages, can someone sum things up for me?", and then arguments would circle back and start again with different participants. Even I started only skimming some stuff after a while. The whole experience taught me that people really do have a lot more restraint when posting on a forum, and that's where the game needs to be. :D The folks were particularly fond of Roberto Jefferson, hahaha. One of these days Fandorin will lose a game of mafia, the bastard.
Had so much fun manipulating everyone! Unfortunately I’ll be scum meta read till forever due to that haha. I was surprised how versatile playing as a Neutral survivor can be. There’s a moment where you can claim and try and stay in a weird grey area where you’re scum hunting enough to cast doubts whether town should waste a lynch on you or not, but not actually a Mafia target since you can turn it around if it need be. Super fun pulling that off! Just pray you get on my team this time.
Or you can claim and everyone lynches you because there wasn't supposed to be a neutral survivor because the game was advertised as all vanilla.
Your only chance at surviving after claiming neutral survivor here is someone else claiming town cop before day end.

Really fascinating to see your report on a game run on WhatsApp - love that you put it into a GDoc but it got too big. Good creative solution though.
