Fresh off the heels of Danielle Bradbery’s Billboard Hot 100 debut single, “Heart of Dixie,” comes her next radio-bound track, “Young In America.” Serving as the first track on Danielle’s self-titled album, “Young In America” was penned by Whitney Duncan, Jaren Johnston, and Kylie Sackley (all of whom have quite the impressive resumes). The song emits an art imitating life feel, as Danielle sings about leaving her small town to see what is out there in the country. Danielle, a Texas girl who grew up in a small town, is certainly experiencing what it is like to escape such confines to see what else America has to offer (considering she has been on tour with the likes of Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley, and is now out on the road with Hunter Hayes).

“Young In America” also boasts about young love and wanting to see the country with a special someone. Perhaps a little mature for the minor, as the song discusses heading to Vegas, buying rings, and making “a lot of love,” but the teenage vocalist somehow manages to capture your attention and allow you to forget how uncomfortable you really should have been after hearing that little wish list. With Danielle’s broad vocal range, heavy strings and percussion behind her, and an uplifting, positive beat, “Young In America” is the perfect joyride Spring/Summer song for the young at heart.
