Debreceni VSC completed the domestic double after lifting the Hungarian Cup with a 3-2 win against Zalaegerszegi TE.

Frenchman Adamo Coulibaly struck twice to give his club their fourth cup success in what is the competition's centenary year. Coulibaly opened the scoring in the 24th minute and Mbengono Yannick doubled Debrecen's lead on the half-hour.

Darko Pavicevic hit back for ZTE before the break, but Coulibaly struck again midway through the second half rendering Artjoms Rudvens' effort as nothing more than a consolation. Debrecen coach András Herczeg said: "This game was a real cup final and was worthy of the competition's 100th birthday – in spirit as well as excitement. I am very proud of my team to win such a hard game and pick up the double this season."
