Bills vs. Saints Final Score: New Orleans Wins 35-17 as Brees sets new Record

The New Orleans Saints sealed the deal against the Buffalo Bills in the second half at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, winning their sixth game of the 2013 NFL season by a score of 35-17. It was an NFL record 8th game with 5 TD passes for Drew Brees

After a shaky start to the game, the New Orleans Saints got things going towards the end of the first half, and dominated the Buffalo Bills from that point on.

With Kenny Stills and Jimmy Graham each catching two touchdowns, and Lance Moore catching another, Drew Brees set another NFL record this afternoon by having a record 8th game with five or more touchdown passes.  Peyton Manning is in second place, with seven such games.  Drew's 343rd touchdown pass also passed Tom Brady and Fran Tarkenton (342) for fourth place all-time, though Brady's one touchdown pass today keeps him tied with Brees (at 343) for the fourth-most touchdown passes in NFL history.

Pierre Thomas was the rushing leader, followed by Khiry Robinson, and then Kenny Stills... who actually ran the ball once for four yards.

The New Orleans defense also had a great day, with David Hawthorne, Cameron Jordan, and Junior Galette each forcing fumbles -- two of those recovered by Cameron Jordan and Galette -- and Keenan Lewis nabbing an interception from Bills quarterback Thad Lewis.  With the offense not giving up any turnovers, the Saints now have a +8 turnover differential... which could be enough to lead the league, depending on the rest of this weekend's games.

Hopefully the 6-1 Saints keep the fire in their bellies as they face of against the Jets at MetLife stadium next weekend.
