Anabel Englund Talks New Hot Natured Sessions, Solo Album, & Favorite DJs

After being featured on tracks by the likes of Hot Natured, MK & Lee Foss, PeaceTreaty, and Human Life, it’s fair to say that Anabel Englund is rapidly becoming one of dance music’s most in-demand vocalists. With a petite frame that houses a powerhouse combination of smoky stylings and sensual delivery, the New York-born and Los Angeles-raised singer quickly burst onto the house scene with a distinct flair for sleek beats and tabletop performances.

After catching up with her, Foss, and MK about their trio Pleasure State, we connected with Englund again atop Brooklyn’s Output Club. Just a few hours before her debut NYC performance there, she dished on her new album deal with Three Six Zero Music, her recent studio sessions with Hot Natured, and the unorthodox method through which she caught the attention of Lee Foss.
