Rogunskaya HPP is a hydroelectric power plant under construction in Tajikistan situated on the upper level of the Vakhsh cascade. According to the project, it is a dam-type hydropower plant with a high-rise (335 m) rock embankment dam. If the project is completed, the dam will be the highest in the world. Planned capacity of Rogunskaya HPP is 3,600 MW, average annual output is 17.1 billion kWh.
