Contains approximately 25 pages with 200+ handwritten pencil annotations throughout the script, on the recto and verso, in Hilton’s hand with dialogue changes and other instructions: “Why didn’t we get married in We could have been married in Istanbul?”, “I know. There is love here…everywhere…Anywhere there is movement”, etc., as well as his pencil notation “(earlier version)” on the typewritten cover label. This script is the basis for the 1956 Broadway play which opened at the Winter Garden Theatre starring Dennis King, Shirley Yamaguchi, Jack Cassidy and Alice Ghostley.
