WHERE IT ALL STARTED

3|NOLANS was co-founded in 2013 by Ted Nolan, Brandon Nolan, and Jordan Nolan as a way to offer a hockey skills development campĀ for First Nation youth in First Nation communities across Canada. This is how the 3|NOLANS First Nation Hockey School was born.

WHY WE DECIDED TO START 3|NOLANS

The program was developed to specifically work with First Nation youth to further develop their hockey skills and knowledge, but more importantly, teach them the importance of living healthy active lifestyles, how to be positive role models, and how to become future leaders in their communities. The 3|NOLANS came up with the idea to host their own hockey schools as a way to reach and impact the lives of First Nation youth across Canada. After years of being contracted to work for other First Nation and non-First Nation owned and operated hockey schools, the 3|NOLANS decided to create their own hockey school as a way to use their names to attract First Nation youth to the hockey rink, then more importantly, teach them life skills outside of the hockey rink that will take them to great places as they embark on their lives into adulthood.

WHAT IS 3N?

At our hockey schools we were always being asked, "where can we buy 3|NOLANS hoodies, hats, and t-shirts?". So, in early 2016, we decided to create a lifestyle apparel brand called 3N as a way to offer apparel products inspired by our First Nations culture. We will offer products to First Nations and non-First Nations people across North America, products that people can be proud of wearing. Our products will be made of only the highest quality, softest feeling materials. Also, we promise and commit to providing a portion of the proceeds from 3N to the Ted Nolan Foundation, a non-profit charitable foundation that has awarded over 120 scholarships to First Nation women across Canada to help them achieve their educational and training goals.
