John Casablancas Grad Sunny Suljic to Star in Upcoming Jonah Hill Film

The movie is set for release this October.

Atlanta – Sunny Suljic, a 13-year-old native of Roswell, Ga., has been selected as the main character in Jonah Hill’s directorial debut “Mid90s.” The film is slated for release in October.

Suljic will be playing the role of Stevie, a thirteen-year-old who befriends a group of skateboarders he meets at a Motor Avenue skate shop. Set in the 1990s in Los Angeles, the movie follows Stevie as he navigates between his new friends and his troubled home life, learns hard life lessons, and comes into his own through skateboarding.

Suljic is a 2013 graduate from John Casablancas Center in Atlanta. He later attended International Modeling & Talent Association (IMTA) in Los Angeles with MTM International. While in Los Angeles, he met his current manager, Monster Talent Management.

The young star began his acting debut in the short film “Ruined” in 2013. Currently, he is best known for his work in “The House with a Clock in Its Walls” and “The Killing of a Sacred Deer.”
